解释一下metaMax的意义

自从上次blogspot.com被封，我就陷入了一个不停更换blog托管平台的窘境，不停的向关注我的朋友发链接更换消息。甚至被误认为我中了什么尾巴病毒。为了摆脱这个状态，同时预防blogspot.com再次被封锁，我注册了一个叫metamax.cn的域名。当时想了很多名字，都没有合适的，不是已被注册，就是不好记。最后选择了这个我自己觉得好记的域名。选择这个域名的原因，实际也是来源于bt……

meta是一个词缀，意思多多。Max当然就是我。查询了一下answers.com，发现meta与其他词组成短语或者单词可以形成很多种意义，如下：

上面这些东西有点乱，不过大体还是能包含两大类的意思，一是beyond，二是relating。结果就衍生出一大堆meta前缀的新词汇，如 metafile, meta-data , meta tag。这些词，大体上来讲，可以这么解释：In the computer field, it defines things that embrace more than the usual. For example, a metafile contains all types of data. Meta-data describes other data.

至此，metamax的第一层意思出现，即：metamax is a person who called max containing all types of Max.听起来很拗口啊，用中文来讲，就是metamax是所有类型的Max的集合体……

第二层意思，才是真正的bt。来源于黑客间的笑话。从analytic philosophy的角度来看，meta前缀的词有很荒谬的解释方法。A metasyntactic variable is a variable in notation used to describe syntax, and meta-language is language used to describe language.看了这段话，我真是哭笑不得。原来metamax也可以解释成：Metamax is Max used to describe Max。这相当于没有任何解释……简单举个例子，就像我在说：“火车，是一种叫做火车的东西。”黑客还真是有幽默感啊……

看了黑客幽默这段解释之后，我就毫不犹豫地决定，用这个东西当作域名了。我也够bt的。以后大家记忆这个域名的时候，应该会有些门道了。对于一个blog的访问量，在某些程度上域名的好记与否也有很大影响力。惭愧，惭愧，我的本色还是bt。但愿这个中英文混杂的胡思乱想不是那么的难以理解。不过，要是有啥不懂，去answers.com吧，我的说法可是有根据的，木哈哈。
